Net Worth — Public Tracking
Since I started living on my own in September 2025, I've been tracking my net worth — including bank accounts and investments. I decided to make this tracking public for a few important reasons:
- Transparency and accountability: publishing the numbers helps me stay disciplined with saving, budgeting and investing decisions.
- Educational value: sharing real-life numbers can help others learn about personal finance, asset allocation and long-term planning.
- Community feedback: making the data public allows peers and mentors to provide constructive feedback and suggest improvements to tracking and strategy.
- Combat misinformation: real, honest numbers provide a grounded counterpoint to unrealistic expectations often shared online.
The sheet below is updated regularly and contains an overview of accounts, investments and a simple historical view. Use it respectfully — the data is published to foster learning and transparency.
